From 30 May to 31 August, 2025, Hotel de la Coupole – MGallery Collection invites you to celebrate World Cocktail Month in the enchanting highlands of Sapa. Nestled amidst the clouds, our iconic “Castle in the Clouds” honours the rich heritage of cocktail craftsmanship while embracing the artistry and innovation of contemporary mixology.

WORLD COCKTAIL MONTH

World Cocktail Month marks the anniversary of the first time a cocktail was defined in print, back in 1806  by ‘The Balance and Columbian Repository’. This definition described a cocktail as a stimulating liquor,  composed of spirits of any kind, sugar, water, and bitters—a formula now known as the “old-fashioned”.

To celebrate this exceptional collaboration, MGallery and Maison Sarah Lavoine have merged their creative sensibilities to design cocktail glassware that stirs both emotion and memory. These elegant, limited-edition pieces now grace the Absinthe Bar at Hotel de la Coupole.

Starting from 30 May, guests are invited to explore a bespoke cocktail menu, where each sip becomes a canvas of artistry and flavour. The experience features eight meticulously crafted beverages — both spirited and alcohol-free — each inspired by evocative destinations around the world. Taking centre stage is a trio of exclusive cocktails made with Citadelle Gin, the world’s first craft gin, offering a refined expression of global mixology.
