Our Commitment to Sustainability

In line with Accor’s global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, Hotel de la Coupole Sapa – MGallery Collection is committed to making a positive difference for the planet, our people, and our guests.

This commitment is brought to life through a comprehensive Sustainability Management Plan that addresses environmental stewardship, sociocultural responsibility, quality, health, and safety. From guest rooms and dining venues to the spa and shared spaces, sustainability is woven throughout all hotel activities—engaging our Heartists, guests, and business partners in a shared journey toward a more responsible future.

Our Sustainability Efforts

1. Waste Management

At our hotel, we are committed to responsible waste management through thoughtful daily practices and continuous improvement initiatives. We achieve this by:

• Encouraging our Heartists and guests to reduce unnecessary waste during daily operations and avoid single-use plastics whenever possible.

• Encouraging our Heartists and guests to contact our Housekeeping team for the proper disposal of batteries, electronic items, and hazardous waste.

• Actively using a food waste tracking system to monitor and manage daily food waste.

• Promoting zero-waste initiatives through our buffet and à la carte offerings.

• Implementing buffet waste reduction measures.

• Optimizing portion sizes to minimize food waste while maintaining guest satisfaction.

• Progressively eliminating single-use plastics from the guest experience across our hotels.

2026 Targets:

•⁠ ⁠Reduce food waste -5% compared to 2025

2. Eliminating Single-Use Plastics

All in-room amenities are free from single-use plastics and are thoughtfully presented in refillable containers, supporting a cleaner and more sustainable guest experience.

3. Sustainable Food and Beverage Practices

Our culinary teams continue to increase the use of locally sourced ingredients, reduce food waste through careful planning and monitoring, and promote responsible consumption through guest awareness initiatives.

4. Supporting Meaningful Community Programs

We actively collaborate with local NGOs, including Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation and BCNV, as well as nearby schools, to support social initiatives that create meaningful and lasting value within the community.

5. Celebrating Cultural Heritage

The hotel proudly showcases Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage through partnerships with local ethnic communities and artists, weaving authentic stories, craftsmanship, and traditions into the guest experience.

Sustainability begins from within. Our Heartists receive ongoing training in sustainable hospitality practices, including energy conservation, food waste reduction, and responsible operations, empowering them to be ambassadors of positive change.
