At Hotel de la Coupole Sapa – MGallery Collection, we believe that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility. The following guidelines outline activities that are strictly prohibited due to their harmful impact on the environment, as well as actions that are actively encouraged to support environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development for future generations

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

•⁠ ⁠Destruction or illegal exploitation of natural resources.
•⁠ ⁠Exploitation of biological resources using destructive methods, tools, or means, or not in accordance with legally regulated seasons and quotas.
•⁠ ⁠Exploitation, trading, or consumption of wild flora and fauna classified as endangered, precious, or rare species under protection by competent authorities.
•⁠ ⁠Transportation or disposal of toxic substances, radioactive materials, waste, or other hazardous substances not in accordance with environmental protection technical procedures.
•⁠ ⁠Discharge of untreated waste that fails to meet environmental technical standards, including toxic substances, radioactive materials, and other hazardous substances, into soil, water sources, or the atmosphere.
•⁠ ⁠Discharge of toxic chemicals, waste, unverified microorganisms, or other harmful agents into water sources that may cause harm to humans and living organisms.
•⁠ ⁠Emission of smoke, dust, gases containing toxic substances or odors into the air; release of radiation, radioactivity, or ionizing substances exceeding permitted environmental technical standards.
•⁠ ⁠Causing noise or vibration levels exceeding environmental technical standards.
•⁠ ⁠Import or transit of waste from foreign countries in any form.
•⁠ ⁠Import or transit of animals, plants that have not undergone quarantine, or microorganisms not included in the permitted list.
•⁠ ⁠Production or trading of products harmful to humans, living organisms, or ecosystems; production or use of raw materials or construction materials containing toxic elements exceeding permitted environmental standards.
•⁠ ⁠Destruction or illegal encroachment of natural heritage sites or nature reserves.
•⁠ ⁠Damage to facilities, equipment, or means serving environmental protection activities.
•⁠ ⁠Illegal activities or residence in areas designated by competent authorities as restricted zones due to severe environmental risks to human health.
•⁠ ⁠Concealment of environmental violations, obstruction of environmental protection activities, or distortion of information leading to adverse environmental consequences.
•⁠ ⁠Abuse of authority, exceeding authorized powers, or lack of responsibility by persons in authority resulting in violations of environmental management regulations.

•⁠ Communication, education, and mobilization of individuals to participate in environmental protection, environmental sanitation, conservation of natural landscapes, and biodiversity.
•⁠ ⁠Protection and efficient, economical use of natural resources.
•⁠ ⁠Reduction, collection, reuse, and recycling of waste.
•⁠ ⁠Climate change response activities; development and use of clean and renewable energy; reduction of greenhouse gas emissions; protection of the ozone layer.
•⁠ ⁠Evaluation of environmentally friendly facilities and products; production, trading, and consumption of environmentally friendly products.
•⁠ ⁠Scientific research, technology transfer, and application of waste treatment and recycling technologies and environmentally friendly technologies.
•⁠ ⁠Investment in the construction of facilities producing environmental protection equipment and tools; provision of environmental protection services; implementation of environmental audits; promotion of green finance and green investment.
•⁠ ⁠Conservation and development of indigenous genetic resources; breeding and introduction of genetic resources with economic value and environmental benefits.
•⁠ ⁠Development of environmentally friendly villages, hamlets, residential areas, and communities.
•⁠ ⁠Promotion of community based self-management and environmental sanitation service activities.
•⁠ ⁠Formation of environmentally responsible lifestyles and habits; elimination of customs and practices harmful to the environment.
